As with most Apple Watch wearers I have been playing around with the watch faces almost daily to figure out what works for me, I thought I had it down (Chronograph) but then I sat down and took a look at the Apple Watch site for guidance - after all I liked the ones that were on their videos.
I picked my model and took a look at what they had on their pages. Looking at the main image it shows MODULAR in yellow on this model. I then took to customising mine, I copied the screenshot exactly
- Top left: Current temp
- Top Right: Current time
- Middle: CAL/MIN/HOUR
- Bottom left: Activity progress
- Bottom middle: Current date
- Botton right: Battery (this was a change, the original Apple one shows moon phase)
I left it on and then realised that I where previously I had my next appointment, having CAL/MIN/HOUR information actually motivated me to move more. I could see how close I was to my target activity that day and found that as I neared the end of the day I wanted to hit them and went for a quick walk to get my heart rate up and get all my goals completed.
It's the second day now and I'm still using it, I'm still unsure if I am going to keep the yellow text but the core information is ideal and what I'm going to be using to motivate me going forward.
Give it a try and let me know if it motives you to move more.
