My most used apps of 2016
Looking back on 2016 I'm struck by the fact that there haven't been any real standout new apps here in my list but improvements to existing ones that have helped them stick in my work flow. Here are some of the apps that have been in my most used app list this year
- Apple Notes
- Apple Music
- Apple News
- Apple Reminders
- Apple Calendar
- Day One
- Google Maps
- MARIO Run
- iA Writer
Going into 2017 I'm planning some changes to my blog and content I'm going to be producing so need a few more beefier apps to help me.
First off I'm going to give Todoist a proper try rather than just in my 30 day challenges. When I have used it I've found sync to be reliable and I can trust them to secure my content with encryption at rest and in transit supported.
I'm also reviewing my app of choice for writing. I've always been a fan of iA Writer but after trying Ulysses I can see me switching to it full time. The organisational structure alone might make it worthwhile for me. I'll keep you updated.
So, best of luck to everyone in 2017 and let me know what some of your most used apps are.
